Paramotoring is just like flying an aircraft with one different, that it's using a small back pack engine behind the pilot's back. It is the smallest and the cheapest aircraft. Technically it can fly anywhere and at any time. Paramotor need a take off area as big as the beach. But for the beginners a large space is needed for safety. Pilot can fly up to 3 hours with 8 litres of petrol.
Paragliding is flying without engine. It is easy and safe only if properly conducted. The wing is designed to fly and land its pilot safely. Flying usually uses the thermal and updraft in order to maintain the lift. Hills are used as a launch pad and soared up with the help of thermal and updraft along the ridges.

On New Year’s eve 2000-2001, SkyVenture Productions (SVP) organized Malaysia’s first BASE jump from the Petronas Twin Towers which broke three world records. A total of 15 jumpers including two Malaysians took part. Themed the ‘Malaysia SkyVenture Trans-Millennium World Record Xtreme Skydive’, this parachute exhibition jump was performed for 250,000 Malaysians and witnessed by our Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Mahathir Mohamad.
